This is my Study of John Storrs 1917 drawing CROUCHING NUDE. Born in Chicago in 1885, Storrs studied singing in Berlin, but soon became a sculptor. He is best known for his machine-like sculptures. The original drawing by Storrs is currently located at The Detroit Institute of Arts.
